I put out my first trail cam 2 weeks ago. Supposed to rain tomorrow but that won't keep me from retrieving the card. Here's hoping for the first of many cool pix!

Yep...you will be hooked! I started with Film Trail Cameras years ago. Most pics you could get was 36. Several times I would get 36 pictures of crows flying in and out from in front of the camera. I would always tell myself "I am NOT getting these one hour developed at Rite Aid...it's just too expensive - I'll wait and take them to Walmart later in the week" - BUT, I couldn't stand it and would stop by Rite Aid and get them developed!
The first decent buck was a 2.5 year 7 pointer - he wasn't much, but I was hooked on Trail Cams from then on.

It's actually a good time to check cams before or during the rain, as it washes your scent away almost as soon as you put it down. At least that's my take on it and what I like to do when I can. Good luck!
