My boy over at Olive and Sinclair is sponsoring the event and I might go to throw him a bone although he is doing so stinking well with his choco that I don't know if my pennies matter any more. I dig that Anthony is able to craft a living doing what he loves regardless of his style. We should all be so lucky!

no kidding. that choco is some good stuff but so dang pricy. the wife sneaks it from time to time and I am lucky to grab a single square. his smoked nib bourbon brittle is about as close as it gets to perfection and that buttermilk is a close second in my book.

I like the guy myself. Hello...who wouldn't want to travel the world and eat fine foods and party like a rock star? As for his attitude, he's from New York/New Jersey...wtf do you expect?

can you all not let it go for even a minute? anything you don't like is automatically "liberal"... guess that saves you from having to think, just throw it in the "liberal" hopper and you have it all described and packaged up for you.
that said, I heard Bourdain interviewed on NPR last week and even though I really liked his first book I would probably end up slapping him upside the head if we ever had a conversation in person.
I have had a conversation with Ted Nugent, years ago before he decided presenting himself as a far right-winger would be a good marketing strategy. not something I'd be in any hurry to repeat.
