Another "what is this" thread

I was seaching a rockbed for artifacts and amongst all the round rocks, this piece really stood out. Any idea if it is an indian artifact, or just a rock?

Id go with a natural stone on it. If it had been altered by a human there would be very distinct marks from grinding and drilling.
