Three-star senior defensive end JaQuan Bailey of Raines High School in Jacksonville, Fla., received a scholarship offer from Tennessee on Wednesday, just hours after he decommitted from Florida.
The 6-foot-3.5, 230-pound Bailey had been committed to the Gators for more than nine months before reopening his recruitment Wednesday morning.
Bailey already is scheduled to visit Virginia Tech next month, and the 247Sports Crystal Ball currently points to the Hokies as the favorite to land him. He also claims offers from Louisville, Miami, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Purdue, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest.
He's ranked the nation's No. 58 weakside defensive end in the 247Sports Composite for the 2016 class.
