another moon question?

Im not a firm believer of moon phase affecting deer movent. But does anyone think that moonrise and moonset times carry any weight?

The only phase I've seen that interested me was when the full moon is overhead late afternoon on a cold day.

Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to look at moon rise and set times versus hunter-collected deer observations. All I've looked at is the percent of the moon illuminated and whether the moon is waxing or waning versus hunter-collected deer observation rates.

I dont believe in it at all for hunting purposes.

For fishing?I believe its when the moon is either directly overhead or directly underfoot that makes fishing better.

I'm a firm believer in increased deer movement during the late afternoon when there is a rising moon.

Dont know if I see more deer or not, but it makes the anticipation of a good deer hunt expected.

What about when you get in the stand for an afternoon hunt say around 3:30 and the moon is setting?
