another jerky question....

Using an Aroma dehydrator. How long should I let it go? 8 - 9 hours? Temp not variable. Using Ground meat

Used some mesquite flavor backwoods seasoning from bass pro, added some soy sauce, worchester, blakened seasoning and some Tiger Sauce. Love that stuff!!

Pending on the moisture content, @ 7hrs with ground meat.

I start mine so it runs while I am sleeping and I can check it int he morning before work. If it needs more time........I plug the dehydrator into a timer for an additional hr and head off to work. That way it is not over done.

I have the excalibur I make 9 trays of jerky in 4 1/2 hours.

I got it straight from the company.It was high priced but worth every dollar.
