Another experiment

Had a couple of these 30 gallon containers laying around from failed home fish pond experiments,any way decided to make 2 watering holes,see if the deer will use em.They are,have some pics of deer with their heads down drinking,dont have the sd cards with me,but any way,heres how they look.Have 2 like this,with a TR right beside them.

Nailed a piece of tin to a nearby tree to try and help keep em full.

cool...Im going to have to try and add some sort of water source higher on the ridges...got some creeks in bottom but still would like some up top.

I was thinking of putting a small watering hole,something like that,on a 50 acre tract I hunt,it has a small stream on it,but it goes dry fairly easy when we go a little while without rain,and it seems when it goes dry,the deer doesn't use the property as much.But I was thinking that it also just might make a mosquito nest?
