My friend "Chigger" and I went out early this A.M. and the 1st set was dry so we went to his land and about 10 minutes in this female came down the fence line and chigger knocked her down @ 170 feets! Chigger is the same guy I called the fox in for last week and wouldn't you know 5 minutes after he shot the yote the male fox comes in to my home made decoy But when it came in it was to my johnny stewart compact! I was using open reed calls as well but didn"t shoot because the warden's family lives about a mile down the road.

The comment about the warden's house almost makes it sound like the fox from the cat/fox post was called in with an electronic call and illegally shot. Whatever.

Why would you make that assumption? Not that its your business but the 1st fox came in to a haydels sly pup howler call.

Sounds like the fear of getting caught breaking the law is the only thing that stopped you, not that it was illegal.

Interesting to say the least.

Oh and before you smart off to me, it is my business as well as it is every law abiding hunter in the states business.

Break the law and hide in the shadows is one thing. Break the law and put proof on the www, well I promise you I will do all I can to notify the proper authorities.
Not saying you did, ever did or ever will but just sayin.

Yes you are correct, getting caught breaking the law is the only thing that stops a lot of us from doing things. :/
How many times have you got behind the wheel of a car or atv after having a beer? How many times did you test out your truck engine on the highway when no one was looking? Get out of here with that more holy than thou crap.

The measure of a man is what he will do when nobody is looking.
