I have been opening up the canopy in a few places on my land to promote new growth.would it be better to remove the leaves to speed up the process or just leave them alone.
Regeneration will occur leaves or no leaves. Plus, the leaf cover on the ground tends to reduce erosion problems and helps hold moisture in the soil during hot, dry summers.
