two of the jakes that have been hanging around this spring showed up again. Good way to practice my jake gobbles. They are some dumb birds there :D

the improvised tube call I made in the field on Easter Sunday when I killed my 2nd of the year. It was just sitting on the counter when the jakes came by so I grabbed it. Surprised the reed wasn't all dry rotted.

thank you. Surprised me when I tried it out the first time. Cut the top section off a vitamin water bottle and put a piece of latex glove over half of the mouth. And duct tape over the other half.
