Another AGE Request

I got this buck on my trail camera the other day. Looking at the Age Chart that BSK posted a while back, I'd say he's either 3 1/2 or 4 1/2. Befoe I looked at the chart I was thinking 3 1/2 at most. What's do you guys think?

BSK, The broad flat back was what made me think 4.5 was possible but I'll defer to your experience and say he's 3.5. I knew that neck had to get him at lesaat a 3.5 though. His body while muscular, is more slim than the 4.5's on your chart.

Greygoose, I agree with you. If I get a chance, he won't get any older! OF course he's gotten this old buy being mighty careful so I know it's not real likely to see him in daylight.

4 1/2 isn't out of the question. But his front legs still look longer than his chest is deep, and at 4 1/2, the ratio of chest depth to front leg length is usually about equal.

I think he is a healthy well feed 2.5 ...... that will be an AWESOME buck in 2 years
