I hunt Bradley and Hamilton county and it seems that the rut trickled this year. I know that it depends on where you are and where they are, but the action of the first was weak here and the second has been non existent. What do y'all think?

It actually started sooner than ive ever witnessed this season. We started seeing some serious seeking phases the early in the week of the 3week in october. By first of november everything then had a doe that had picked their suiter but only waiting for him to do her part as many does I saw walked around infront of the bucks with their tails over to the sides. So the time we all thot it shudv been the best time from past hunting yrs was actually the lock down time. That hot weather didnt help prolong it either. Im from mcminn. It was the same for us too.

Thanks man, I saw bruiser bucks on October 26 and 28 on trail camera mid day at 12:00 lunch time, but after that nothing at all.

Just rode thru enterprise south on my way home from work and seen some giants. Low and behold every single buck wasnt with a doe instead grouped in bachelor groups like it was late summer.

Just above you in Seq Co. and we had a fired up rut on the opening day of rifle season, with good chasing leading up to it during ML season. I'm now looking forward to next week and for the does that possibly didn't get bred the first go'round.

Im getting pics of bachelor groups here at my place in Bradley. I completely missed it this year cause of school. My wife got one with her bow tho'. That was cool!!!
