ammo?

I am sure I know the answer, but why is there no ammo on the shelves? I was going to get my wife some .22 shells for her handgun (she has her carry permit) and have had no luck anywhere around Blount/Knox counties. What gives? I am planning to get my carry permit later this week but if I can't find ammo for my gun I guess I need to get my arm in shape so I can just throw the gun at a crook trying to get in my house.
