I should have done more research, I finally scratched my .45 itch I have had today with a glock 36 slim-line so I been looking around for some FMJ ammo and well looks like I should have just bought a .22 it seems like all I can afford to shoot. :grin: If you guys know of any internet deals please let me know.
 
Where have you been?? Ammo has been sky high for a while now..That was if you could find it..But thankfully supply is really starting to catch up..I know a few months ago,you couldn't find nothing..Now I noticed wally world is keeping most handgun ammo in stock and also 22lr,it was almost impossible to find bulk 22lr in stock anywhere there for along time..Things are calming back down..But not prices,the prices seem to be staying up.
 
You just gotta find these small little shops and stay quite about what they have in stock.

Ammo prices went through the roof a few years back.. Cant' believe the price of it these days. I remember being able to get ammo for like 10 bucks a box for my guns. Now days your lucky to find .35 ammo for under 25. Its crazy
 
Yeah I have found a place here locally that reloads and they seem to have some reasonable prices I may just have to fork out the cash and order 1,000rds when I get a chance.
 
If you have not shot your Model 36 yet I would be curious to here how you like it. I have often considered that model. I love the feel of the single stack.

I put 100rds through it so far and I love it. I have had a Glock 17 and 23 for years but wanted something a little more concealable and this gun is it small, light and virtually invisible in my IWB holster but still packs 45 punch. I would highly recommend one. The doubled recoil spring helps so much on the recoil my 23 is more of a handful than this gun, its a pleasure to shoot.

Sevier County Indoor Range has ALOT of 380 ammo.

Check the gun shows and shop around, 380 is becoming common at the shows again for around $25 per 50, not cheap but available.
 
Ammo has been high since way before nobama got in office. I used to be able to buy. 223 ammo all day for $4 a box and now the cheapest I've seen besides the junk wolf and blazer ammo is $23 a box.

I've been able to find some of the best .223 out there for $7.40 a box of 20 and that INCULES shipping. This is the good stuff, no junk or reloads here.
