I want to take my AR and M1A out and run some ammo through them,but the way ammo prices are,im afraid to.I have some put up for a rainy day,but I hate to get into it,and dang the prices,hate to buy anymore.Are the ammo prices affecting the way you shoot?
 
I would NOT get into your reserved stash cecil. Keep them for "insurance" :)
The prices are killing me too....when I can find what I need
 
Buy a .22 conversion kit for your AR. Mine paid for itself the first few times I used it. It's not as fun as putting 5.56's downrange but it at least lets you shoot.

Getting hard to do that. Most places are short or out of dies along with just about everything else esp primers.


I have been through other shortages or hard to get periods BUT Nothing Like This. and It shows no sign of letting up anytime soon.
 
If the gun show in April is like the one they just had here in Knoxville. There was alot of reloading supplies there. I didn't know I needed any 9mm bullets then or I would have stocked up while I was there.
 
Bullets aren't that hard to get yet but like the others it all depends on what one wants or is looking for.
 
Give me a call or PM as I'm on Vacation for the next few weeks and I have plenty of AR and M1A mags stoked with ammo ready for a good shoot!
 
I'm with Mossy Oak on this one...buy .22lr conversion kits and go shoot on the cheap. It's not quite as much fun, but it is satisfying enough for me.
Plus, most of the .22 conversion kits require some tinkering with to get them running 100%. And I like to tinker with them.

Thats all well and good but they too are starting to get hard to find esp the cheaper stuff.
