I just scrolled the the trophy room for the 2019/2020 season. Looks like there off to a pretty good start this year considering it's basically ground zero for cwd. Several 4 and 5 year old bucks killed. Not bad for deer that are carrying the zombie disease that is "100% fatal"

Yes, I'm quite pleased with where we are at this point in the season. We have 8 good bucks down and 3 right at 140 or higher. I hope we end how we've started. Three deer have come back positive with about 18 or so that have come back. We aren't seeing any obvious evidence of CWD even though it's there and the buck prospects are looking good! There are some bruisers that have been seen or on some well guarded pictures. Some of the guys that quit maybe scratching their heads right about now.
It's just a prime example that folks need to step back take a deep breath cause everything's gonna be ok. The sky isn't falling. There's basically a 5 year panic period once cwd is found in a state. After that nobody is even talking about it. 3 more years to go!

My land is right by Ames and I'm still seeing a decent amount of deer. Not getting as many camera "inventory" pics as I was since we can't put out minerals, but they are still around.
