That is very cool. I wonder how the deer made it that far out onto the ice in the first place?

I think they put a little too much flare into the video production itself, but that's beside the point.

Saved one on Douglas once that had made it about half way across the lake before the ice broke. We used a jon boat to break ice out to it and wrapped it in burlap to load it in the boat. When we got to shore we used a propane heater to help warm it back up. Someone had called the HSUS from Knoxville. The deer was able to run off as I saw them crossing the bridge. They had wanted to make a big production from it.
