Had to change the firebox a bit. Bottom draft is for a stoker.

My own design based on reducing metal waist from 4x8 sheets. The base is made out of 2x6 tubes so I can lift it with pallet forks. The top rack is for hanging ribs. There are 240V oven elements in the main chamber drawing about 27A. Everything is insulated. I used radiation trefoils for the damper design. I'm still figuring out how it will behave, but so far it seems to work well. I had to crank the wattage of the elements down because the lights in the house would pulse with the PID. I haven't tried just wood and coals yet. This is the first time I've tried building a smoker, so it isn't pretty.
