You know , I have thought about striving for the smallest fish you could catch sometimes instead of all about the biggest. I have hooked some 2 inch smallies on lures bigger than they were. Also baby bream.I have been into the wild trout before and there is a certain satisfaction that comes from fooling one of those in a small stream that you can step across.

It would take a different mind set.

Most of the places I fish, you aren't going there to catch big fish, they don't exist. Lots of other things don't exist either, mostly people or any signs of people.
