I remember reading about an alligator in a neighborhood in FL one time. When they cut it open it's stomach was full of dog collars.

I killed one in the Caloosahatchee River that an old guy got mad over. He was easily into his 80s and told me the gator had been in that canal since he was a kid.

I didn't stick around long to get details. At the time, the $350 that gator was worth at the processor was more important than his story. I do remember him yelling at me all the way out of his creek though.

I had a hard time believing this one too. The dog tag gator is much more believable.
