Anyone hunt public land in Alabama? Kinda kicking around the idea. Not really sure if it's worth a try or not.
 
I live in Huntsville.

Bankhead is public land and there have been some big deer killed off of it the past few years.
 
North AL has a great late rut. I looked into it a couple years ago but I remember the out of state licenses were pretty expensive. Seems like it was gonna be $200-$300 range so I decided not to.
