Wow. I'm hearing some sports commentators saying if deboer loses to Auburn that he's in danger of being ousted already.
Fans are not happy with Deboer and his staff's performance.... As UCStand Sitter wrote, hard to follow great success... Easier to take over a terrible program like Bama was when Saban took over.

I've ready so many crazy articles.... writers trying their best to sell meritless stories..... One of the funniest: Saban is coming out of retirement, Manning is transferring to Bama from Texas...

Either way, Roll Tide,

destroy Auburn

Taking over a successful program is almost always coaching suicide. You see a drop off on a winning program folks are quick to pounce and say, "oh coach mismanaged the talent". When you take over for a dog folks give you a little more leeway. "It'll take a few years for them to dig out". All about perception.

Debore will be fine. Bama fans need to realize that being fine means 9-3 to 95% of college football.

But bama fans have spent the last decade telling 9-3 teams they are "bottom Feeders" "irrelevant" 9-3 is average not good enough for CFP.
so, according to bama fans themselves, this year, bama was an irrelevant bottom feeding team that wasn't good enough to make the CFP. So yeah I say Debore in trouble at bama.

The Alabama fans I talk to all like Deboer and some think Alabama will lose today. I don't like all the play calling and some of the decisions but I'm still excited for the future.
I like Deboer and I think he's going to win at Alabama. I think it's mostly other fans bases making a big deal about it more than Alabama fans.
Alabama has a chance to crush Auburn's bowl dreams today. That's all the relevance needed. RTR!

Debore has the most talented team he's EVER coached this year and they lost to Vandy. Saban inherited a mess. He's a good coach but most of gump nation won't give him time to build. It's just their culture.

Sabans first year, he won 7 games.Deboer has already won more.Bama fans have been spoiled by Sabans success
THAT is where we are today! The one thing that I see missing is team discipline. It's almost like DeBoer wants to be their friend instead of a hardass coach. To fill the shoes of a hardass he has to become the hardass.

I think that is very accurate. Hard to transition Saban players to DeBoer style of offense in a single season. DeBoer is a winning coach. It's the reason he got the job. People are going to have to have some reasonable expectations and let him coach HIS team .

I have a multiple choice quiz for you.
Is DeBoer's style of offense the one that:
A) Lost to Tennessee
B) Lost to VANDERBILT
C) Got SKULLDRUG by Oklahoma
D) ALL OF THE ABOVE

I think 9-3 is a good first year for Deboer or any coach. I personally thought 10-2. What is weird is Tennessee is the only "good" loss. I didn't expect losses to Vandy or Oklahoma. I know Vandy is a better team this year but Alabama still should have won.

That's how I feel about UT's loss to Arkansas. Shouldn't have lost but that's why they play the game. To think they could be 11-1 is something I didn't think possible for sure. Heck I don't think I predicted 10-2.
