does anyone here hunt with a pellet gun? just wonderin.i've been doing it for 3 yrs. now and love it. has a good challenge to it.
 
I have a 12 yr old that can shoot the lights out with his. Squirrels, birds, rabbits.......none of them are safe around my house.
 
I am 35 years old. I still remember the first Tree Rat and Rabbit I shot with my pump pallet gun. Now, them were the days!

I was about seven when I got my first Tree Rat by my self. I went hunting around the barn behind our house. I saw it; there he was just setting on the side of a tree. Like he was frozen. I already had my gun pumped. I found me a small tree and popped one off.

Who said they were shooting songbirds ? Im sure they know it is only legal to kill European Starlings and House Sparrows year round no limit.

mine stopped shootin. it doesnt have the air power to push the pellet out the barrel. i dont know weither to junk it or find somebody to fix it

If I had to guess I'd say you probably pumped it up to much and the air compressor broke under too much pressure ;)

I'm sure they all realize it's illegal to shoot any song birds (non-starling and sparrow) as well as shooting squirrels out of season.

there's amnesty for gunners under the age of 13,lol.....I'd be under the jail...for all of my heinous past acts of feathered murder with my Crossman Powermaster (25 years ago) :D :D :D

me and a buddy of mine killed a bushel basket full of all kinda birds sitting under a ripe mulberry tree about 1964, those were the good ole days to me, pellet gun or bb gun learning how to hunt and how to shoot,

Gosh, I guess I killed about everything that flew..I had a couple of Daisy bb that had a cylinder that held 50..It had peep sights and I was death on anything I could find(6-9yr old)..I did kill 2 hummingbirds on the wing.The second was a beautiful male Ruby-Throated one.I can still remember the colors(one of Gods masterpieces) absolutely stunning..I cried and never tried to kill another :cry:.Was still hell on the blackbirds tho........ :)
