Ain't that the luck !

dad and myself hunted are lease four days straight on all day hunts With only one small buck sited and nothing on 3 trail cams other than a few small deer. The very day my dad and I left another guy comes in and shoots a dandy 8 right where we was hunting within 5 mins of being in stand.

Yep, knew a guy one time in Elberton Georgia told me a friend of his killed one in the same spot he had hunted 12 days in a row.................big 12.

funny how that happens. I wish dad would have got a chance but I was glad for the other guy

Yep, this year I had a big 8 that grossed in the 140's on cam and I would hunt 3 or 4 days in a row on the ridge I was getting pics on then back out for a week then go back and hunt 3 or 4 more days. I think I hunted it 12 days total and never saw him in person. A little over a week ago I hunted Friday, Saturday and Sunday then went to work on Monday and I went back on Tuesday. Well I work with one guy on the lease and about 8:00am he text me in the stand saying another guy on the lease killed the big deer out of my stand on Monday. I was pissed, not at that guy but at my horrible luck.

After my hunting buddy hunted a stand for 3 days without seeing the buck, he told me to hunt it because he was sick of sitting there. Thirty minutes into my hunt I killed the buck. Never, never give up.
