Aging deer by tooth

I have never aged a deer by tooth so I am hoping some of you can age based on this pic:

Nice buck! It's hard to age a dead deer, but the deepness of chest and neck definitely makes it look 3.5+ to me.
I feel like I can age decent based of body structure but this deer (and a couple others we killed) were pretty lean when we shot them a little over a week ago. I lean towards 3.5 with this buck. Was hoping jawbone would be more accurate.

The TWR method of aging isn't an exact science. It should be used along with other factors IMO. This buck certainty shows signs of maturity. Some deer chew more on one side than the other just like people. I would agree with most here and say he's 3.5. Congratulations on a great buck.
