Usually I'd guess a strong 3.5 but this year on my property up there I have multiple 4.5yr olds, a 5.5yr, and a 6.5yr old that look just like that, and trail cam history to validate their ages. A huge frame 5.5yr old actually looks younger body wise than he did last year as a 4.5yr old. I've only got one older buck that looks "big". All the others look at least a year younger than they are.

I agree with that many deer appear about a year younger this year. He will look a lot different in about 3 weeks so I'm going 4.5 or older

I hope so. The younger they are the happier I am. If I don't kill him, he should be bigger next year

I don't think he is older than 3.5, but that is a September picture, so I might change my mind in a couple of weeks.
