Whats wrong with his antlers? Look at the mass! LOL Who cares what he scores.

I agree muddyboots. However, there are many hunters these days that believe maturity goes hand in hand with trophy scores. In much of the Southeast, that isn't necessarily (or often) true.

He has a massive body. I would age him around 5.5-6.5. Older does not mean better quality rack wise. I have noticed that the deer in my area tend to slack of in mass,tine, length, and agressiveness when they get up in age like this. The term going backwards is over used in my opinion as they drop thier antlers every year. There are so many aspects of nutrition and health that have to come together to produce a good set.
