This is the only buck i have gotten a pic of so far that is a bigger buck. lots of little guys and a few fawns, but this guy showed up on June 15th. got pics of him at two sites but that was the only day I got pics of him.

Re: Age this guy please

It is extremely hard to age them this time of year. Wait until fall and post some pictures

Re: Age this guy please

I belive it's the same buck in all three pictures. It is definately difficult to age bucks at this time of year, but it's not impossible...I would say in my opinion this buck is a 3.5 yr old buck....

I'm going to say two different bucks.

I thought this was possible. I had an 8 a 9 and a main frame 10 with a double brow that made him an 11 last year. everyone said they were all 2.5 years old. very possible it is 2 different bucks and being I know all 3 made it all 3 should be 3.5 this year. Just wanted to see what everyone said.

This is also possible that it is the same buck. I assume it is one of the bucks that I had running around last year. two were definitely 2.5 and one was questionably 3.5, but everyone here said 2.5. All 3 made it.

2 different deer . The brow tines give it away for me .

you're right, now that you mention it they are different. Not surprising. The 11 and 9 pt ran around together. In addition the 11 showed up with another 8 pt i had never seen on march 31st, both still had hard horns. It could be a mix of any on them I guess.

Have to agree.
But sometimes it's hard to wait before venturing a guess. :)
None of these appear any younger than 2 1/2.

way to be a risk taker Wes.....

I didn't feel like starting a new thread, so I figured, I'd update this one. Fulldraw was right, two different bucks. These two hung out a lot last year, so no surprise they are back together. The larger racked buck has split G2's and has a kicker coming off the left G2. If it develops he will be a 13 pt buck. Hard to see it in that pic, but i have other pics of just him and can see it. The one on the right (i believe it is him) was a 9 pt last year. He looks like he is a 9 this year again, but I have hopes the right side will develop a G4. It appears there is a possiblility of that happening, but we'll have to wait and see.
