Hey BSK, would you say 3.5 or 4.5 ?

And do you think this is the same deer from the pics from 2011 ? Notice the long spike on his left side which replicated somewhat is 2012. I think it is the same deer, aging on the 'downhill side'. What do you think?

Ben,

Im not BSK, but I'm going to say yes on both accounts. However, I REALLY had to study your first 2 pics, because I wasnt sure you didnt have 2 different deer there.

Short legs, shorter face in the first pics, more definition in his shoulder/front heavy, and not clear distinction from the chest to the neck.

See, I think in the 11 pics, there is definately a difference between the neck and the shoulders, and his head and legs looks much longer, in proportion to his body, typical of a 3.5 yo (still in velvet though, so thats before the acorn harvest). This would make him 4.5 this year.

Does this logic make sense?

Nice deer. Amazing that deer hasn't been killed yet.

Well, some Yay-Hoo took an off handed, from-the-ground pop shot at it last year with a black powder rifle, at 150 yds, and missed! Wonder who that woulda been, now!? ;)
