The wear suggests 4.5, but the buck could possibly be a year older. You can send to either of these places to get their opinion as well; they both age based on cementum annuli method.

They are not 100% accurate on southern deer due to our extended growing season (summer), but they tend to be more accurate on older bucks (5.5+). It is cheap and another data set to confirm or negate your age estimate from the TR&W method. When I suspect a buck is 4.5+, I like aging them myself, then sending them off to get a second opinion from one of the vendors mentioned above.

If you are only sending one set in, this is correct, but if you send in three or four sets (yours, your buddies, etc), Matsons is cheaper. If only aging one deer, DeerAge would be my choice as well.

With what you have left to look at id say 4.5 maybe 5.5
