LMBO!! I am pretty decent at aging bucks by body size but have never spent enough time on the teeth. I need to get better at it.

Tooth wear only shows minimum age. The one you posted showed 4.5 max by toothwear. However, history with the deer along with trail cam pics showed he was older. I am really not sure what you proved except for toothwear shows min age which it did. Many factors such as abnormal wear, what they eat, etc can affect the wear thus the min age. I'm not an expert by no means, but there are some on here who are.

I'm in the same boat.
 
My guess would be 4.5 but I really don't think I'm great with tooth aging in deer. Pretty good with humans but not so much in critters.

Very nice deer though and congrats.
