I did get my hands on him. He had to be checked for CWD as i donated the meat to Hunters for the Hungry. The TWRA person that pulled the samples said to tell me this deer was 2.5. I disagreed needless to say.

Did he pull the jaw bone? I'd like to see them to verify the age. There's a big difference between 2.5 and 4.5 or 5.5. If he didn't then he is more or less guessing on the age.

Ridiculous to say 2.5....must have been some mix up or misunderstanding....I agree with others....he's a tank...4.5 minimum ... Could be 5.5.
