Afternoon update

Great day in the woods. I will be here till dark. Decided to stay after checking the cam next to my tree around 10 this morning. Deer pics at various times of day over the past couple weeks. Fawns, does and bucks. Had to go back to the bike because guess what I left there... TP. "Pitched" a loaf and came back to stand, oh and bumped a fawn a couple times in the process.

At 12.30 pm a lone hen came out of nowhere... Actually I woke up and she was there. Couldn't get a shot.

2.00 pm a buck came by. Not feeding, just walking. Couldn't get camera on him or draw the bow before he was gone. 2.5 year old and I probably would have shot him if I had the chance.

I think I might see another deer or two before it gets dark. Will see...

I hope you aren't pulling an all day hunt in the lockon with the padded seat. It's got to be the most uncomfortable stand on earth. I got skunked this morning. I'm hoping for a little better luck this afternoon. Good luck to you. I'm hoping to hear a good story.

it's the one with the bigger seat attachment and I also brought a seat cushion. It's not bad, just the tree is a little knobby.
