I plan on doing some bow hunting out there and was wondering if the Archery only spots where any good? Thanks

Jonathan...
Please don't give any indication of where you will be hunting on your channel. I've seen youtube absolutely DESTROY WMA's (especially turkey hunting).

And in all honesty...your fishing shows give away so many clues (especially to locals) as to where you are that it isn't hard to find them.
Many of your hunting vids do as well.
The amount of intense pressure brought to these areas in very unusual!

I could be wrong, but I think Jonathan was "carman529" or something similar. I think this catman is a completely different person.

Either way it doesn't stop the real Catman from killing deer. I'm not for exposing WMA's or public for the masses at all. I've never seen Johnathan aka Catman ever give away any area. He usually films up in a tree. Or just a few minutes of walking in. But no wma signs or anything that I've seen.but I also don't hunt anywhere he hunts or even within 200 miles. But I can see what you mean and empathize with the way you feel.

I thought it was Jonathan. My bad.
But if yall don't think people familiar with the scenery depicted in the videos can't figure out where they are hunting...you are sorely mistaken.
I have never been within HUNDREDS of miles of where some of the channels hunt but I sure can sure figure out some of the landmarks. Or river banks and man made scenery.

I've never been to IOWA except to drive through on my way out West. But I have figured out where THP hunts and what waters they frequent.

And several locals have spotted them and mentioned it on social media. And I heard about it from people who have Facebook and I have ZERO social media presence except Tndeer.

I ran into a guy a few years ago while I was fishing and he told me how he ran into Zach on a local WMA.

I've known of Jonathan since he was a kid.Seems like a great guy. I'm sure he wouldn't deliberately release whereabouts of hunting areas.

But these channels haven't always been discreet.

So it's just a word of caution.

I've sent Jonathan into an area I hunt on public. I've killed two decent bucks in there. I wasn't worried he would give it away. In fact, I don't care if he did. Public land is meant to be enjoyed. Whoever wants to do it and however they want to do it legally by all means, do it. We need to do everything we can to support our WMAs. The more hunters the better. If we could get more money into the wildlife agencies and have it ethically spent on more land we'd be in good business. Fear of overharvest? That's on our wildlife agencies to manage.

To answer the OPs question. I have never been to AEDC but I guarantee you there's several 150+ deer there so get to scouting!

For some reason I have a feeling this is going to get good.
