AEDC and air rifles?

Got the call back today, air rifles are permitted on AEDC, he said no problem.
Nice that you got an answer. I've taken mine to archery/ shotgun only WMA's. I figured i would offer the defense of the effective range is less that a shotgun. I don't know if it's true, but it sounds good. I just don't like bb's all through the squirrel.

I'm guessing with a big bore PCP. I'm thinking and talking .177-.22 caliber size. And comparing shot shells to pellets.

I can see reaching out with a slug in the .357-.50 caliber range those distances.
