I'd say that's a question for the manager but it says "no rifles" and when it's technically called an air "rifle"…
Yeah AEDC is not the place to ask for forgiveness later.
I called and left a message, if I can get him to send me a text that it's ok I can keep in my phn I'll take the air rifle but not otherwise!

Got the call back today, air rifles are permitted on AEDC, he said no problem.
Nice that you got an answer. I've taken mine to archery/ shotgun only WMA's. I figured i would offer the defense of the effective range is less that a shotgun. I don't know if it's true, but it sounds good. I just don't like bb's all through the squirrel.

effective range is less than a shotgun? I have killed to 140 yards.
I'm guessing with a big bore PCP. I'm thinking and talking .177-.22 caliber size. And comparing shot shells to pellets.
I can see reaching out with a slug in the .357-.50 caliber range those distances.
