Anyone get drawn to hunt there? And if so generally what area do you hunt.

I'll be there. I've hunted every unit there, but will be in unit 2 for that hunt.

I've hunted it several times and could have killed one the year before but some pumpkins on the other side of the powerlines decided to shoot to the other side where I was needless to say the whistling of bullets goin by and such has since persuaded me to go farther off the main road hunted tht spot two years not a sole until tht year

We haven't decided where we are gonna hunt yet, never been before so we will be going in blind bowhunting.

They have an archery only zone you might look into. I've never seen any vehicles near there

can you park anywhere in the unit you are going to hunt or do you have to go sign in somewhere?

You have to sign into the hunter stations prior to hunting I use to have a map tht showed the zones etc couldn't find it they have them at the hunters check in station tho I'd get one and they have certain roads that go back through the woods the map shows them but I can't find it

After you check in you can drive on any of those roads and park and go from there

Yeah the hunt is in the middle of the rut. The bucks will be chasing. Me and my family have killed quite a few bucks on the draw hunt out there over the years.
