Advice on older Bushnell Banner

I bid on a Bushnell Banner on eBay; the pic was the current model, with the multi-coated lenses and fast-focus eye piece. So I bid, and won.

Now I find that the seller downloaded the pic from the internet, and his scope is actually one of the older Banners, without the fast-focus eyepiece. I don't know for sure what the other differences between the years are.

Anyone have experience with these scopes, and would you still use it on a 50 cal in-line ML?

I would not and could not reccomend any Bushnell unless it is an Elite series, and I am not sold on them either. I have an Elite and it has done just fine, but I have it on a 22.

I have an Elite 3200 on my 300 RUM with no problems after 75 rds or so.

Other than looking through a few of the newer models over the years,10+,I can't say any thing good or bad as far holding up.

If it by chance it is a much older scope say 80's back,they were decent to good scopes at the time.One of my uncles has a couple and hasn't had any trouble with his from that time frame.

BTW I have no ideal how to tell when it was made as Bushnell isn't one my favorite brands.
