This is my first year attempting to put in a food plot. I was able to plow up the field and sowed my clover on Thursday of this week. Overall after rethinking it, I should have smoothed out the field better than I did before sowing. That coupled with my hand spreader not doing great the question is should I go back and smooth out the field and resow or let it go or no? Weather calls for rain on Monday and temps dipping to 28 early in the week. Any advice would be appreciated. This is all new to me and guess I'm learning the hard way!

Don't rework the field now that seed is down. You'll cover it too deep. Let it ride for now. If it needs some more work, get after it again in late August-mid September. spring planting cool season plots usually have more weed pressure than fall plots for be ready to deal with that.
