looks like an awesome hunt but not for a 350 lb. man lol
\ Yea that to. British Columbia is undoubtably one of the most scenic places on this Earth!! But it is cold and wet very wet. Washington state is the 2nd wetest place I was ever stationed at in the Navy the worst wet cold windy foggy place was Scotland.
Bravehart the movie must have been shot in England cause I only remember a few days it was ever sunny in Scotland and if it got to 70 degrees the locals started having heat stroke cause they people wwear wool clothes year round over there.

Well, Montana's sheep hunt application deadline is fast approaching. I've had two setbacks in relation to doing that hunt this season. I was hiking early in the year and stepped in a groundhog hole. My right leg hyperextended and really hurt until just recently. Then I went over to Radnor Lake last week and hiked with an elk hunting friend. I knew better-wrong shoes for the slick, muddy conditions. I started down Ganier Ridge and busted my butt on a slick tree root.Hit the ground before I knew what had happened. I took the impact on my left kneecap. Now I've got matching banged up legs. I'm hardheaded and have continued to backpack hike almost daily. I'm noticing my legs are feeling better so I'm still not completely writing off the sheep hunt for this upcoming season. Funny how time seems to make one forget the negatives. I'm sort of obsessed with thinking about elk again more than the sheep--especially after watching some of the elk archery hunting shows.HMMMMMM-

I'm going to hunt B.C. Sept. 20-29 for elk with my huntin partner and friend.I sure do hope he's working at least as hard as I am to get ready.
