Acquired the turkey haven

Being my first turkey season I sat and pondered where I have seen the most birds and I remembered. This beautiful wheat field in this mountain Valley next to this Creek with not another field anywhere close. I got the address of the landowner called my buddy for the utilities and asked him what the guy was like before I went and he said he heard he was mean. Off I went with not to high hopes cause many have tried and not succeeded. 2hrs of stories we talked about he tells me to have at it. So I am pumped. Went and scouted yesterday and just like everyday there's so many. 40-50 scattered everywhere. Can't wait. Gonna have to be first of the week tho. Good luck to everyone this weekend.

Got to work all weekend but head this way next week. I don't give a dang. I've never seen a place that so many birds gather in one spot EVERYDAY. Morning and afternoon.

Just sent Seth some Mag-blends for his new 1187 20 gauge. His juvy bird last weekend had 10.5" beard and 1" spurs. Probably a 3 year old.
