A few trees were paying off 2 weeks ago (way too early ar my place) and they have quit dropping. I found 5 or 6 trees on one ridge and they were starting to pay off SOME yesterday, it seems like deer are just scowering the ridges picking up small button acorns. I found one white oak that that deer are murdering but thats it. Looks like its gonna be a rough one for me. Hope its better for you guys. I should kill opening day but after that its gonna suck.
