I'm in Washington co. And I have seen some red oaks that are loaded but haven't seen many white oaks with many nuts on them.
 
I am seeing water oaks dropping heavily, which is a bit earlier than usual here.

Also, the one white oak I found that is starting to drop had much smaller acorns than usual. I am thinking that having rain and overcast skies everyday for 2+ months in the middle of the summer stunted their growth. Anyone else seeing anything similar?

I hope your observations hold true for Lincoln County. Bad acrons equals deer movement to me.

I have oaks red/white all over my farm. Should I be hunting them OVER hunting my winter wheat plots right now?
 
My buddy that I was hunting with this weekend was on the edge of a corn field with fallen acorns behind him, three bucks come in feeding on only the browse around the field. ? Makes you wonder sometimes
 
Both White and Red Oaks are dropping on Franklin county. And both types of tree are loaded. Looks like deer are going to be scattered and easily fed without moving much early in the season again.

Even if deer are feeding heavily on acorns, they still browse on everything they walk past.
 
Checked our white oaks Friday (Lewisburg area) and they are loaded but still greem. Looked like a few greens ones were falling at random but think we are a little ways away from them hitting the ground. The deer are tearing our clover plots up right now on one property but still hitting the beans hard on the other.
