I bought an Accura MR a couple months ago. I've just got around to shooting it. It appears to be the least accurate muzzleloader I've had the pleasure of shooting. I'm shooting 90gr worth of pellets and 240gr XTP's and am getting 6 inch groups at 100 yards. That is unacceptable to me, especially with a gun that is expected to be so accurate. What do y'all think? I think that a bad load would still be in the 3" range for a rifle with this reputation. I'm pulling out my wolf and going hunting next week, I know it will hit correctly.
 
I shoot 150 grain of 777 pellets with a 250 grain shockwave or Hornaday stt both same bullet made by Hornaday I shoot sub 1 inch groups at 100 yards and have taken deer at up to 250 yards.
this is the best smoke pole that I have owned.
 
You have to spend a few sessions at the range with a smokepole to find it's favorite load. Don't give up yet!
 
I'll have my loose powder when I get back to the range. I've never had such accuracy issues with a reasonable load but, will try several options before I give up.
 
Ok, I went back to the range today. I tried my old stand 80gr fffg pyrodex, then 90gr, then 70. at fifty yards 3"-5" groups. To make matters worse it will not chocolate chip cookie sometimes. I will be calling CVA Monday to see what possible actions need to be taken. I've got a lemon plain and simple. If they'll fix it or swap I'll be happy to try another Accura.

the primer is not seated properly will not allow the hammer to be cocked.
make sure you shut it firmly and this wont be an issure.......adjust the pin in slightly will also cure this.
