Accubond Performance at Close Range and High Velocity

You can pretty much put concerns about Accubond blow up to rest. This AM i was peacefully watching a crossing point when a doe moseyed up the draw and to my surprise turned and came right at me. I swung the Browning around and when she stopped squeezed one off. She went 40 yards with a blood trail that was plain enough for me to follow.

Doe was a measured 12 yards.

Leupold 3.5x10 VariXIII
Accubond 150 grain
60 grains IMR4350
Fed 210M primer
jump is .009
Chrony FPS is 3010 FPS

The furthest I have ever had one go after getting stung with an accubond has been 15 yards. 3 of them were total bang flops. I am 100% sold that this is one of, if not the best bullet on the market.

i have pushed a 200 gn accubond at 3215 shot one at 18 yds exit was a lil bigger

If they don't blow up at 12 yards, that's a purty good witness to it being a tough bullet!

165 grain accubonds are devastating out of my 300 rum.

Nosler Partitions and Accubonds are possibly the best medium/large game bullets ever to hit the market. I load 130 grain Accubonds in my Creedmoor and they are reliable and extremely accurate.
