Stopped by the Academy Sports in Johnson City store today, they had Winchester .223 55gr soft point on clearance for 4.98. I got all 12 boxes they had. Not sure if it's a just this store or all stores. Online still has them at 19.99 a box.

Like $8.49 or something. they were $3.51 off per box and the least expensive of the brass cased ammo. Heck I think they were cheaper than the steel Tul Ammo.

You know I do what I can to help you out...lol We can try your creedmoor out, I bought some Hornady they had on sale for 14.98 last fall.

Don't give up on this. Retail stores have a habit of losing inventory, and then finding it again. When they do they generally just stick it on the shelf where it belongs. When into cool Springs academy just a minute ago and two boxes of these rounds were on the shelf. There hasn't been anything in the slot for over a week. Needless to say it's empty again[emoji23].

Just keep an eye out because if they come across some they'll be put out
