I spent this morning on our farm to check out the state of the timber cutting going on. I got there about 6:45 and had six squirrels by 8 AM. Most in the hickories but plenty messing around with the acorns. I probably could have limited out, but I stumbled into a patch of chanterelle mushrooms and got distracted. By then the sun getting high and the squirrel activity had died down. Still, that's an excellent way to spent a morning. Not the best picture, but here's the take from the day.
