Submitted my REQUIRED post hunt survey so I will be eligible next year.
@cbhunter told me he got an email saying the deadline was approaching and he had already filled it out.
Sure enough I got the same thing.
I swear this goat roping gets better every day!!!

Heard a rumor that two commissioners reported to a state representative that they had received "a few" complaints but not many!!!!

My distrust of the whole agency is growing every single day!!!
 
It has become a total joke.

I got the same threatening email. I logged in, and there was my survey that I submitted on 12/14 with all of my answers.

You would think with all of the previous computer glitches that they have had in this debacle that they would have tightened it up a little. Obviously not.

Almost as if it's run by the democrats.
 
True shame the commissioners have alienated so many TN sportsmen.

Could there be a link between the excessive costs of all those "new" waterfowl blinds and their decision to make all these unpopular changes?
I.E. "Follow the Money?"

But didn't y'all see the 3or 4 groups they interviewed in the blinds at Reelfoot on the early 2 day season?? That just proves everyone wanted this change LOL. Those puff pieces!!! I just wondered if they interviewed every tier 2 blind on Reelfoot that day. Or just the oosers and ones drawn by people from middle and East Tennessee

But then, these are the same people who thought it was a great idea to stock feral pigs at the Anderson-Tully WMA in West TN?

They trapped, then transported the "wild boars" from East TN to West TN,
then released them at Tully.

Ah, I believe the "reasoning" back then was
it just wasn't "fair" that you'uns in East TN had wild pigs to hunt,
and bears, too, while those in West TN just had mainly ducks & doves.
When this happened, should add, many people in West TN were actually going to East TN to hunt deer, not just grouse & bears.

Heck, the West TN county I was born in didn't even have a deer season until after I had moved away.

Go figure.
Life isn't always fair,
but the politicians are sure working hard to make it even worse?

Hey easy with the E. TN stuff! We try to get drawn because our side of the state sucks for duck hunting. But we will show up IF we get drawn, which dont happen any more!
 
West Tennessee ain't much better.lol. I was in Nashville over the weekend and I told my wife on the way home there was no way I'd drive from Nashville to where we hunt in West Tennessee(I live in west Tennessee) The hunting just ain't worth it anymore. It's one thing to drive a hr or less to hunt. But when you gotta commute 3-5 hrs on interstate and bring boats Nah. Hard pass.
