Took a week off and headed to Jax beach with my better half and my dog. We were on a boat 4 of the 7 days we were there. We fished inshore and offshore a bit out of Mayport. So relaxing and so much fun. We ended up with 23 different species and an untold number of fish. We used live shrimp, dead shrimp, cut bait, mud minnows, mullet and even got on a school of Spanish Mackeral trolling spoons.

As many lady fish as you cared to catch. They go airborne when you catch them. One jumped into the boat.

Sounds like an AWESOME time!

x2 what Stik said. Crevalle Jack was the toughest fight I've ever had in a fish. The biggest bass I've caught didn't come close.

I was told to hold the ladyfish over the side of the boat towards the water. Why? Apparently they can/will poop on you!

Funny you mention that, indeed true and I didn't get a warning :D
