Hopefully it is. Saw 11 hens Sunday morning and then Sunday afternoon sitting in a different spot had 11 show up so assuming it was the ones I saw that morning. I heard something coming down the road and here came a bunch more. When the ones feeding in the field saw them they all took off to the field edge like they were about to rumble. Looked like a gang turf war as they all started getting after it and there was 1 or 2 that were definitely the boss. One would go into a half strut and chase the others off. They finally settled down and eventually fed off and then roosted close by. I counted 26 or 27 total. Got me excited thinking about spring.
