Fun cookbook. Along with recipes you get interesting and entertaining sidebars about various things including how to serve wine, origins of Cajun cookery, how to properly peel crawfish and a great pictorial on cleaning soft shell crabs.

The recipes read as if a little grandmotherly lady tried her best to figure out the measurements so she could share the secrets with you.

It's worth a look if you like that kind of food. And I love it.

Enjoy.

Where did u find it, Trapper?

I first read about it in Gray's Sporting Journal but figured they were just trying to sell stuff. Then I heard it mentioned by several friends who live near Baton Rouge so I bought it off Amazon.com.

I will have to get a copy. Another great cookbook is the first edition River Roads cookbook put together by the Junior League of Baton Rouge.
